Moving Robots arises as the transformation of the professional activity of Javier Miguélez, into a more global and international consultancy.
Javier Miguélez has worked in mobile robotics since 2013. Initially, he was part of the ASTI sales team (a leading Spanish company in the sector), to end up being the Business Development Director of that company.
In 2019, he decided to embark on his solo career as a Mobile Robotics Consultant, and began to break ground in a market (consulting), which to date he had not explored.
It is there where the brand “Javier Miguélez” was born. In 2022 the volume of inquiries begins to grow considerably and so does the need to grow the team, joining Eva Santamarta the project.
Industrial Engineer from the University of León (Spain), Università degli Studi di Perugia (Italy) and Harvey Mudd College (California, USA). In addition to Spanish, I am fluent in English and Italian.
Since 2013 I have participated in more than 1,500 mobile robotics projects on 5 continents. For 6 years I worked at ASTI Mobile Robotics (company later acquired by ABB), 3 of which as Director of the Business Development Engineering Department.
I started my journey as an independent consultant in 2019, accompanying clients in their business growth and helping them to be more efficient in their internal logistics.
I am currently an advisor to the Boards of Directors of several companies related to mobile robotics, as well as the President of the Spanish Mobile Robotics Association (ARME) of which I was one of the 8 founders.
I am an Industrial Engineer and at the same time I am passionate about people management, customer experience and business management.
I have been lucky enough to work in positions with a wide variety of responsibilities, and in very different environments and circumstances. From the subsidiary in Spain of a French company, in which I performed functions in different areas until becoming part of the Board of Directors, until my time at ASTI Mobile Robotics (ABB Robotics), the company where I started in the world of mobile robotics, which allowed me to have a very broad vision of the different sectors in which it operated as well as manage a commercial team and develop relationships with clients and colleagues.
My concern for the “obsolescence of knowledge” has led me to be constantly in training, the most relevant being my Postgraduate in Business Administration and Management, thanks to which I have been able to help companies by giving them a strategic vision and helping their decision making.
